The Kingdom Arena Riyadh was certified by Guinness on 8 February 2024 for the largest indoor football arena (20,218 seats then), now seats about 27,000. HAV’s  technical audio team answered with a complete JBL based sound system and a technical study that curated an experience that every audience member could share together as one.

The study focused on uniform dispersion and intelligibility. Using array geometry tuned for long throws, carefully placed delays, and zoning that mirrors the arena’s tiers and concourses, we targeted consistent tonal balance and arrival times across all seating blocks. The design also emphasized operator reality: scene recalls for football, combat sports, and ceremonies; redundant amplification and network paths end-to-end; and monitored amplifier loads so the system stays resilient under live-broadcast pressure.

Kingdom Arena is an ideal venue for a wide variety of events, from world championships and cups to concerts of world pop stars.

What followed tested every part of the design under the region’s biggest events. Kingdom Arena has hosted Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou (8 March 2024), UFC’s debut in Saudi Arabia headlined by Whittaker vs Aliskerov (22 June 2024), and the undisputed heavyweight championship Fury vs Usyk (18 May 2024), with the rematch returning on 21 December 2024. Each event pushed the noise spectrum of the system and demanded a consistent outcome.
