The inaugural AFC eChampions League Elite kicked off at the King Abdullah Sports City Sports Hall in Jeddah

When Asia’s top football esports clubs converged in Jeddah for the first-ever AFC eChampions League Elite, HAV Production was trusted to bring the arena to life—transforming the Sports Hall into a high-impact, broadcast-ready stage that matched the scale of a landmark debut. The five-day competition ran alongside the AFC Champions League Elite Finals week in the city, with 16 club sides battling for the inaugural title; Al Nassr lifted the trophy after a thrilling bracket that showcased elite gameplay and production standards throughout.

We designed a stunning light show around the fast rhythm of esports broadcast—walk-ins, team reveals, hype moments, and finals—all driven with ADJ Hydro Range fixtures for punchy beams and resilient performance under show conditions (haze, long hours, fast cues).

At the heart of the set, a 40 m² Absen 2.6NT LED screen anchored the visual identity, clean graphics for player IDs and brackets, punchy motion packages for interludes, and crystal-clear sponsor playback.

Content and show control ran on a ThinkStation P900 Resolume MediaServer, feeding through a Magnimage MIG-V12 4K video switcher to keep transitions seamless across cameras, stings, and LED program, this is crucial for broadcast continuity and in-arena energy.

We covered the bowl with a JBL VTX A8 line array for full-range clarity—tight voice intelligibility for casters and stage hosts, plus the low-end weight esports intros deserve. The result: even coverage, clean speech, and musical impact without fatigue over long sessions.

With the success of the inaugural event, we hope this will be the first of many AFC eChampions League Elite events held in the Kingdom.
